THE DAILY BULLETIN, Martinsville, Va., Mon., 2 March 1936, p. 1, col. 3. Mrs. Harvey E. MINTER, age 43, died last night at her home near Leatherwood from a stroke of paralysis. Burial at Leatherwood Primitive Baptist Church. Mrs. Minter was stricken as she attended the funeral of her brother-in-law, Edward Fletcher Minter who died when he suffered a fall off the porch of Dr. Richardson's hospital. Survivors: Husband and children, Mrs. Lily Gray Moore, Misses Victoria, Bessie, Florence, Ronnie, Clifton, Elvin, Russell and Eugene Minter, all of the Leatherwood neighborhood.
