In (looks like Chaneny) Court of the City of Richmond July 29th. 1913 - It was decreed in the Cause of the City of Richmond vs. Charles E. Jones et als that their Grant is Null & void, the Same being of record in O.B. No 88 Page 30 of (Chaneny) Courts Clerks Office Copy of Said decreed is filed in this office with the Survey upon which this grant is founded. This July 18th - 1914 Jno. W Richardson Register Land Office.

Hoge Tyler, Esquire, Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia: To all to whom these Presents shall come--Greeting: KNOW YE, that in conformity with a survey made on the 28th day of March one thousand nine hundred by virtue of Land Office Treasury Warrant No. 30.796 there is granted by the said Commonwealth, unto Charles E Jones & E L Barnes a certain tract or parcel of land containing one (1) acre of land lying and being in the County of Henrico (an Island in James River, a short distance above the Dam at the Old Pump House, near the Henrico Shores) and bounded as follows: Beginning at a Triangular Rock at the upper end of said Island, thence N 77½° E. 120 C. N. 58° E. 1.C. N 81° E.120C. to point of a Rock, N.52° E.150C. N.49° E.1.00C. N.45° E.110C. N.23½° E.1.C.N.46° E.1.30C.N.12° E.50C. N.85° W.90C.S.56° W.60C. S.54° W.1.00C.S.27° W.75C.S.42½° W..90C.S.43½° W.1.C.S.50° W.55C. S.70° W..90C.S.55° W.1.C.S.54° W.1.C.S.31° W.1.20 to the point of beginning, with its appurtenances.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said tract or parcel of land, with its appurtenances, to the said Charles E Jones & E L Barnes and their heirs forever.
