hi i am also trying to find out more about richard caudle. he is my 3rd great grandpa. my great grandpa was edwin f. caudle and his daughter sadie chilton was my dads mother. i am trying to find out more about williams wife, permelia peu who i have been told was a cherokee indian. i guess by now you have probably got answers to your questions but if you have any more info on richard, permelia and their parents i would appreciate any help you could give me. thanks, cathy chilton
