Was your grandfather, B. Howard Brown born Jul 23, 1912 and died 25 Dec 1996? If so, then we are related through Charles A. Brown! Where in the family line was the adoption? I have corresponded with others who also talked of an adoption in their Brown family but as of yet have not made a connection. Very interested in what Howard (I remember him well) told you about this!
