Yes that is the same Howard Brown. He was not sure who it was but knew that there was an adoption in the family. I have been trying to get to the courthouse to see if I can locate the land records for the house in Schley to determine who brought the land and built the house. I know that my grandfather was born in the house and he did say that the land has been in the family for several generations.I am also looking for the records for Singleton Church since many of the family attended and belonged to the church. Also on my paternal side related to the Belvins,,Moreys, and Shaklefords. On the material side it is the Browns, Hazzard and Crump
