I've traced my family from Robert Coleman married to Elizabeth Grissell. Robert came to Glouster, VA in1638. dating further back as far as I've been able go is Richard Coleman, born a/b 1420, died 3 Feb. 1457 and was married to Agnes, maiden name not known..There is also a Sir James Coleman in this line born 1569, died 1626, married to Mary Spencer they were from Braxton, Mango, Essex, England and he was knighted.
