Mark,
Have you ever been able to establish the connections between the Roystons and Wiatts? In the "Adventurers of Purse and person Virginia," it states that "(Daughter) Wyatt (Conquest, Edward, Haute) probably married John Royston who held 570 acres in Petsworth Parish, 1707, and was a vestryman 1706-1748." In Don Royston's "400 Years of Scattered Leaves," he shows that John was married to Mary Wiatt, daughter of Conquest Wiatt. His writings do not take the Wiatts back much further, but instead the Roystons. I am trying to document this connection. Do you have information that would document this connection that you would mind sharing with me? I would certainly appreciate it.
Armilda (Royston) Young
