Looking for any information on a Joseph Townsend b. 28 Mar 1761 Frederick Co., VA; d. Dec 1845 Carroll Co., TN. He married a Betty Garrett.

I strongly suspect he is a brother to my Sarah Jane Townsend and am searching for his parents.
