The funeral for Linda Adkins Hall, 69, of Bassett, who died Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital in Rocky Mount, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bassett Funeral Service with the Rev. Terry Dalton officiating.
Burial will be in County Line Church of God of Prophecy cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and other times at the home of her daughter Beth Weaver, 2287 Providence Church Road, Henry.
She was born in Franklin County on Oct. 7, 1939, to Charlie Raymond Adkins Sr. and Elizabeth Haynes Adkins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Adam Wayne Martin; and a sister, Polly Hancock.
She retired from Bassett-Walker, and she was a member of New Hope Bible Church.
Surviving are her husband, Eugene Hall of the home; three daughters, Tammy Boyd and Cindy Cox, both of Bassett, and Beth Weaver of Henry; two sons, Kevin Hubbard of Ridgeway and Michael J. Hall of Bostic, N.C.; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Shirley Martin of Patrick Springs, Mary Ingram of Stuart and Faye Linkous of Bassett; two brothers, Charlie Adkins Jr. of Stuart and Buddy Adkins of Figsboro; and a number of nieces and nephews.
