probably married there sometime before 26 Oct 1783, John Fout.
Elizabeth Gohn's marriage is inferred from the 26 Oct 1783 baptismal record at Stehli Union Church for Johan, son of Johann and Maria Elizabeth Faut, sponsors, John B! and Catherine Gohn correlated with the fact that there were Fouts associated with the Coons in both Botetourt Co., Va., and Ross Co., Ohio.
Since there is no Botetourt Co. estate settlement recorded for this John Fout, any guess as to his children is very speculative. To make matters worse there were Foughts in Botetourt before the Coons got there in 1797; two daughters of Caspar Fought were married there in 1785 and 1786. However, the following are the most promising candidates for the family of Elizabeth (Gohn) Fout.

Possible children, surname Fout:
i. John b. in York Co., 24 May 1783; possibly m in Botetourt Co., 27 April 1813, Dolly Bishop, dau of Jacob Bishop.

ii. Elizabeth, "daughter of John Fought" m. in Botetourt Co., 26 June 1809, John Bishop.

iii. Emanuel, m in Botetourt Co., 22 Dec 1818, Betsey Zimmerman, dau. of William Zimmerman.

iv. Jacob, m in Botetourt Co., 18 Jan 1825, Pegy Smiley.

v. Michael, m in Botetourt Co., 20 Jan 1829, Susan Shuey.

I. is missing

J. Ludwig, b 6 Oct 1758, bpt. at Christ Lutheran Church, 25 March 1759, sponsors Ludwig and Anna Margaret Mayer. Page 38-39
Lewis Coon born Ludwig Gohn in York Co., Penna., 6 Oct 1758, probably died in Madison Co., Ohio between 1810 and 1820. There is no marriage record for Ludwig and no evidence that he ever had children.
Ludwig Gohn-Lewis Coon, to Madison Co., Ohio p44

K. Catherine, b c 1760. Page 39-40
Catherine Gohn, born in York Co., Penna., about 1760. died in Botetourt Co., Virginia between 1840 and 1846; married at the First Reformed Church in York, Penna., 4 June 1780, John Custer, who died in Botetourt Co., between 17 Jan and May 1837, son of Johan George Kuster. They had 12 children listed in book.
Catherine (Gohn) Custer, to Botetourt Co., VA p44

Mrs McTeer has done much research in trying to separate the many Gohn/Coon/Koon/Kune families who migrated very much with out owning much of the land they lived on. Therefore tax records are not always accurate.

page 43 Geographical Orientation
Pennsylvania; Virginia; Ohio; Coles Co, Illinois; Mercer Co, Missouri; Butte Co., California; Utah.

At the time the Gohns arrived there were no organized counties west of the Susquehanna; so when they first settled they were technically in Lancaster Co (PA) until the formation of York Co in 1749. Philip and Adam had land near Canadochley Church in what is now Lower Windsor Township. John lived farther south close to the river in Chanceford Township/ his children worshipped at Stehli Union Church organized in 1772. All three immigrants died in York Co., Philip about 1745, John in 1769 and Adam in 1773.

Hope this helps. More later on Bergers as I have to read more of book.
