I'm trying to find info on Bill "Rocky" WARD. His son has not had contact with him since c1965. We believe he is the William WARD who died in Virginia in 23 Apr 1984. He may have had a second family. Bill was in WWII -- an artist & Red Cross volunteer painted a picture of him in New Guinea. The artist was trying to get the picture back to the family & our local newspaper ran the picture & his name. Hence, his son saw his father's picture in the paper & it has sparked an interest into learning more about his missing father. If anyone could get us a copy of his obit that would make a great Christmas gift! His date of death was 23 Apr 1984. We do not know what county in VA he died. Thank you very much for your help! :)
