Hi Jane, I will check my research and see if I can connect with any male descendant for the DNA test, but it is doubtful. From Henry Gilbert, my 3rd gr grandfather, to me there are only women.. In my lineage, the Gilbert name stops at his youngest daughter, and she is my 2nd gr grandmother, Elizabeth R Gilbert and she married John Rutledge. If I can access the Gilbert DNA project, I will check to see if anyone in my records connects to anyone in the DNA project.
