i noticed that you had Baldwin listed in your surname list. I am looking for family/ancestry info on the following Baldwin family:
Thomas Baldwin b. ca 1667 Nottoway Parrish, Amelia Co., Virginia who had a son William Baldwin (Sr. or I ?) who married Susannah S. ?. They had a son named William Baldwin (Jr. or II) who was born ca 1721 in Amelia County, Virginia.
There is a William III floating around ... and then he had a son named John Baldwin, who had a son named John Baldwin (Jr or I)who died 1798 in Nottoway County?, Virginia. John, Jr's wife was Lucy Price (not sure of last name). They had a son name Pleasant Baldwin, b. 1782 in Lunenburg County, Virginia and died 1870 in Buckingham County, VA. He married twice. First to Elizabeth Price, b. Buckingham County, Virginia. Pleasant Baldwin's second wife was Lucy Price (no, not his mother!), b. 1800 in Fredricksburg, Virginia and died 1865 in Prince Edward County, Virginia - Pleasant and Lucy married abt 1852 (Elizabeth Price Baldwin - 1st wife - died before then).

I know the children of Pleasant Baldwin and Lucy Price Baldwin. i am hoping to find more information on Pleasant's parents and ancestors.

I, too, am trying to trace the ancestors of my Baldwin side of the family. The information I have is that there was a William Baldwin and a John Baldwin in Amelia County in the 1700s. They were a father/son I believe but I would appreciate obtaining any dates, and names associated with them to continue my search. The other name I have is Amos Baldwin, a son, who eventually made his way to Kentucky. Any help is greatly appreciated.
