Am seeking information on Christopher Ford who lived in Amelia Cnty,
Virginia in the mid to late 1700's. He was married to Lucy-Lewis I
believe. Would like to know who his parents were etc and names of

I have a lot of information on Christopher Ford, deeds etc that I got in Amelia Cnty, VA. Have not found his marriage bond or who his father was. I am wondering if it was Daniel as they named a child Zachary Daniel. Zackary Lewis was Lucy's father. They also named a child Waller from the maiden name of Lucy's grandmother. In fact all the children had family names, I believe. Would love to have all their full names. I come from their daughter Anne who married John Booth. Would love to share information and try to solve the problem concerning his parents.

I am of Zachary Daniel's line. Did you visit Amelia Co to search? I am debating finding a way to get there, but I will debate no more if there isn't any more information to be had. Do you know of any connection to Hezekiah Ford? I saw a will of his on this site and I wondered. My dad's research took Lucy Lewis's information way on back to GB and Wales, but Christopher's folks remain an enigma. I am also a descendant of Zachary Daniel Ford. His son James Gordon Ford and family moved to AR in the 1840's. I am searching for the line of one of James G.'s sons, David Rowland Ford and wife Martha Pricilla Headstream. Their children were John Edward Ford, Texarkana Julia who married Wm. Bibb, Thomas Lee, William Peter, Janett Wood Ford, Albert E. or T. Ford born about 1872 and married Lula Hudson. Jerald Jefferson Ford, Robert Luther, and Patrick Henry Ford. Ed, Tom, and Pete Ford all stayed in the Cave City, AR area. Luther (Luke) and Pat settled in the Aurora, MO area. Janett, (Bud) and Jerald (Jerd) moved to Texas. The brother Albert possibly was in MO, too. I think he had one son the family called Little Willie (William). I do not have any information on Albert and that is what I am looking for. Zackary is definitely a son of Christopher Ford and Lucy Lewis and Is named in Christopher's will. The will is in the Amelia County, VA archives of the VaGenWeb along with Lucys. He was born in Amelia Cnty, Va, but moved to Smith Cnty, Tenn. Am not sure of his stops along the way.
I would be very interested in seeing the will of Zackary Ford who married Polly Gordon and died in Smith Cnty, Tenn. If anyone has it, please let me know.
