Looking for any infomation on Capt. William George (VA Continental Line) b. 1735 Wales, d. about 1815 Amelia Co.. His daughter Mary George married William Branch in 1789 - I think Lunenburg Co. VA. I have an old DAR record that says her mother was Elizabeth Wrenn, daughter of William Wrenn. This George family is associated with Nottoway, Lunenburg, Loudoun and Botetourt Counties, Virginia with some land warrant activity in Kentucky. David C. George born 1798 seems to have been near last of Capt. George's children - my 4th great grandfather. This David C. George in Giles Co. TN in mid-1830's then Jackson Co. Missouri in 1836.
