Brandon, Vt. â€” Francis "Frank" Doyle, 74, died Sunday, Oct. 6, 2002, at his home in Brandon, Vt.
Mr. Doyle was born in Plattsburgh, N.Y., on Nov. 20, 1927. He was the son of Lawrence and Verda (Bruno) Doyle.
Mr. Doyle graduated from Plattsburgh High School, Class of 1947. In 2000, he was inducted into the Plattsburgh High School Athletic Hall of Fame. He was a four sport letterman, who had received many awards and honors throughout his high school years.
He retired as sales manager from NABISCO-IBC in 1976. He later retired again from Stanley Tools as a distributor representative in 1991. He had received many awards during his working career for his sales and managerial abilities.
He had served as treasurer for Morrisonville, N.Y., PTA and had served as a board member at Saranac (N.Y.) Central School. He had been a member of the Lions Club, charter member of Plattsburgh Vero Beach, Fla., Chapter of The Elks for 39 years. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and downhill skier. He loved to play golf and was a member and club champion at Sandridge Country Club, Vero Beach, Fla., where he held the club record for four holes-in-one. He also belonged to Neshobe Golf Club in Brandon.
Surviving is his wife, Evelyn (Parkhurst) Morgan Doyle of Brandon, whom he married in Proctor on Aug. 23, 1980; two sons, Michael Doyle and his wife Heidi of Lewis, N.Y., and Timothy Doyle and his wife Wendy of Saratoga Springs, N.Y.; four stepsons, Lyman Morgan of Florida, Michael Morgan and his wife Tanya of Proctor, David Morgan and his wife Suzanne of Rutland and James Morgan and his wife Connie of Pittsford; three daughters, Deborah Kosmoski and her husband Don of West Wendfield, N.Y., Faye Calvin and her husband Allen of Mooers, N.Y., and Patti Cinelli and her husband Bob of St. Johnsville, N.Y.; and a stepdaughter, Chris Linda Morgan of Milton, Vt.; 20 grandchildren also survive him.
The memorial Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2002, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brandon. The Rev. Albert "Skip" Baltz, pastor, will be the celebrant. A private burial will take place at a later date. Following the Mass, the family will receive friends at the church parish hall for a time of fellowship and reflection.
There will be no public calling hours.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon.
