Trying to narrow down some birth information for James Wakefield. He is the son of Asahel Wakefield and Sarah/Sally Byam. He was born in Windham Vermont between 1791 and 1799. Is there anyone out there who could assist me in trying to find an exact birth date? I also have conflicting info on his death as well. One source says he died in 1850 in Linn Iowa or in 1879 in Michigan. Any help would be sooo appreciated!!
