In the 1800 Census for Windham Co, Vermont is Josiah Johnson Allen born 1714 according to Find-a-grave; Samuel Allen b 1754-1775; Cornelius Allen b 1775-1784; and Elijah Allen b 1762 newly married to Percis Houghton (Marriage found 1799 in Windham) - no children yet.

How are Samuel, Cornelius and Elijah related to Josiah J Allen. They are the only Allens listed in the Townsend area of the Census.

I am a direct descendant of Elijah and do not know his father's name. My cousin submitted a YDNA test and I have found two other matches to my line - but still cannot connect with them. Vermont is the link. Lines move to NY and some to Michigan and Canada.
