I've exhausted all my resources for locating birth records for Windham County. I'm wondering if someone can help me.

I'm trying sort out the Gilbert family you see below in Jackson Co., IN in the 1840 census. I believe this to be a father Nathan Gilbert with his sons. I've found some unsourced information on the Internet that has the family coming from Marlboro Windham Co., VT. 1850 census birth places for the older sons support that the family came from Vermont and I do see a Nathan Gilbert in the 1810 census there. I think the family then moved to NY where some of the younger sons were born.

Are there any birth records available? Here is unsourced info I have on the parents:

Nathan Gilbert b. 11 Feb 1777 Marlboro
m. Martha Patience Wells b. 17 Aug 1780 Halifax
