I'm a descendant of David Powers, who was in St. Albans by 1790. I haven't run across the name Simeon among his descendants, but David's son Daniel Ward Powers married Lu PARKER. Interesting that Simeon named his son Parker. The list of children of Daniel Ward Powers comes from genealogylibrary.com:

his death she removed to Eaton, Canada East, and lived with
her son George till her death July 13, 1868. Their children

George W. Powers, born Jan. 8, 1831, married Oct. 28, 1869,
Mrs. Martha L. King, who died 1883, married 1884, at
Atlanta, Ga., Mrs. Martha Chadwick, who died 1887; (3)
Theron P. Powers, born Oct. 1, 1832, died Aug. 31, 1855; (4)
William W. Powers, born May 12, 1834; (5) Jennie C. Powers,
born Jan. 3, 1836.
