Early DAVIS names in 1790 Chittenden Co (later Franklin Co) were Allen DAVIS in St. Albans, Elijah DAVIS in Cambridge Town, and Stephen and Francis DAVIS in Georgia Town. Molly DAVIS, wife of David POWERS, was probably a sister of Elijah. Are the other DAVIS families also connected?
