You're welcome! I was surprised that nobody had answered. There was a LOT of local coverage about it. Even just a google search should bring up a lot of info, since it was such a big deal at the time. Also, if your friend contacts either the St. Albans Messenger or the St. A. City Library, they may be able to make copies of some of the articles. The library has a Vermont room and I understand that all back issues of the Messenger are on either on CD or Microfilm (can't remember which).
