Chellus (or Chellis/Chilles) SAFFORD married, probably as his second wife, Lury (or Lucy) POWERS. He resided in Enosburg, Franklin Co, VT in the 1840 census and moved to Genesee County, NY by 1850. He was born about 1797 and she was born in 1818, the daughter of John Edgar Powers and Mary BROWN.

I am trying to learn more about Mary Brown's family. Some of them may have moved to Genesee County with the Saffords.
