My 3rd GGrandfather, Shubael Butterfield (b about 1787) m. Lucretia Calkins (b. 1791) in Waterford on 1809. They proceeded to have 10 children, including my 2nd GGrandfather, Cooledge William Butterfield (b. 1820). He went by William C. Butterfield which is how he is listed in all the census data I've found. (He married Mary McElwain in 1843 and eventually migrated to Iowa.)

I'm trying to find Shubael's place of birth, date of birth and of course his parents.
