Hi LeAna
No not realy but the Farnsworth was one of the very early
familys to go to Wayne co.and lived in the same area.Rozina was born in 1874 so she would be about the right age and Milford was born 1863 so i think that there maybe some allied family conection here. Most interesting don't you think.
Lou

Louisa Caroline Farnsworth (m.) Austin Shipp, son was Milford B. Shipp Sr.

Milford Bard Farnsworth's father was Stephen Martindale Farnsworth. It was his sister, Louisa Caroline Farnsworth who married Austin Shipp, and they bore Milford Bard Shipp senior (1836-1918).

I would think that due to the priminance of the name "Milford Bard", that Stephen named a son to honour his sisters son.

My great, great grandfather was James Edward Shipp, brother to Milford Bard Shipp. There are 11 boxes in the Ellis Shipp collection containing poetry, letters to and from Ellis and Milford and children, documents, etc., at the Utah State Historical Society. Pretty exciting stuff if anybody is interested. (James Edward Shipp was also the son of Austin. There is also a copy of an invite to the 50th wedding of Austin Shipp and Louisa Caroline Farnsworth in conjuction with a birthday party for one of the Shipps. I can;t remember whether the birthday was for Milford of Ellis
