I believe
Adolph Otto Nehls was my materal great uncle: grandmother's brother. My grandmother was Anna Franciska
Nehls, born in
Prussia in 1871 and immigrated to
Michigan in 1907. Otto was older, so he was probably born c. 1860-65 and immigrated to the US around 1885-95. My maternal g-gmother was Elizabeth
Hundrieser Nehls, born in
Prussia, and immigrated to
Michigan around 1889. I believe
Adolph died in San Francisco in a military hospital and was buried in
Utah. Death records show that he was buried with an infant, but I have no record of his marriage.
