The Vernal newpaper in the 1930s included a column headed "Baxter Springs." My paternal great-uncle, Arthur Baxter, lived at that location. Searches in PlaceFinder, Mapquest, etc. don't provide any information about where Baxter Springs was located. I would appreciate any leads or suggestions that would help me locate this small area.
