Looking for descendants of Olaf and Caroline Lovegreen/Lofgren, both born in Sweden, who live in Mt. Pleasant 1870-1900. Have photo of Caroline, about 1880.

Who was this photographer and when did he operate in Ephraim? I have a photo with "M. Jensen, Photographer" on it. Caroline Lovegreen was in Ephraim as of 1870 and in 1880 in Mt. Pleasant.

I am a descendent of Dorthea Marie Andreasen and Jens Larsen through their son Lars Peter Larsen (born 27 Aug 1870 in Denmark, died 29 Nov 1921 in Idaho). Lars Peter along with two of his brothers lived and are buried in Teton Valley, Idaho. If you are still looking for information on any of these three family lines, I may be able to find some information for you. I have been looking for information on this couple and would appreciate any information you could provide.

I read in a mormon pioneer history that, at one time in the early settling of San Pete(1850<), almost every pioneer/settler family had taken in at least one Native American child. Do you have any of these children showing up in your genealogical research? I am interested in their history and details like what tribe they were from and what became of them, etc.

That's a crazy story...but our family seems to have more than one of those. I live in Arizona...make it to Vegas a couple times a year. Kbell@TASER.com ...and then I can get you my FB page info. Would be fun to hear some more stories...I don't have much family. Bobbie is MY mom though. Eddie, as in raised by 'Uncle Ed' and Auntie Clara? That's what we called them even though they weren't 'aunt' and uncle. Bonnie who was taken in by them also is my grandma. Did you live in Roseburg for a while? Looking forward to hearing from you.

I dont think anyone really knows exactly what happened to Martha. I've talked with Darlene (who emailed you back saying she knows what happened to her) extensively and she has a lot of information about what happened after Edward Koyle died (Arlo's and my grandfather's John M.'s father.) She did get involved with Timothy Desmond, who is Darlene's great grandfather. They had twins and he was arrested, but ran off. It was apparently quite the scandal. But no one really knows exactly what happened to her.

Eddie Koyle is my uncle. My Mom, Maggie (Margaret/Margie)remember's your grandmother, as well as her daughters - Bobbie, Yvonne very well - she remember there were two other children, Stephen? and another child? Which one is your parent?

If you email Darlene, she has a lot of info about what happened she can share with you. Are you on facebook or myspace or anything?

I did hear through another site, that Martha Ann Brocklehurst Koyle may have run off with a polygamist Timothy Desmond. No one knows what happened then. They both just disappeared.

I'm still searching. I just got back on Ancestry\.com after 8 years. I put my tree up. I think I titled it (Farris, Davis, Koyle, Anderson, Brocklehurst) or something like that. Have you ever found out anything? I had some hits from several years ago that I just saw but I can't tell if it's my email that's not working or if there emails addresses are no longer working. :( Please reply if you find out anything. At any rate...Hey, nice to find some family on here. John Merrill Koyle right? His Brother Orlo was my G Grandfather but my grandma (Emma Yvonne 'Bonnie' Koyle was actually raised by Edward A. Koyle- one of the other brothers. One of John's children Eddie was adopted by Edwsard A. Koyle also. Bonnie and Eddie grew up together.

Our Issac Morley Sr was born 11 Mar 1786 in Montague, Franklin, MA and died 24 Jun 1865 and is buried in Manti. He established Manti. His Son Issac Morley Jr. born 2 May 1829 and died 21 May 1908 in Moroni, Sanpete, Utah. His wife was Cynthia Abiah Bradley.

I am trying to find out if there's any way to get a birth certificate from Sanpete County from 1895? My grandfather was Charles Dwight Seymour, Jr. He was born in Moroni in 1895. I think the information says records are available from 1897. Hmmmm. What did people do, then, in the early 1900s to prove their birth if nothing exists? Any help would be appreciated.

Chester. My husbands folks were from there. He is a Cloward. Do you have any pictures or information on any of them? I had Jensen relatives in Spring City. Also Nielsen and Harward names on our list. Thanks for any help you have.

I searched for "Surname: Denison" and I didn't see a Jens, but there were several other Denisons, and a number of them were in the Manti Cemetery.

There is a WW1 draft regristration card for James Christen Denison born 23 of june 1880. he is working as a Sheep herder at Tuttle and Brown in Manti. His nearest relative is Johana Denison in Manti. His got blue eyes and bro´wn hair.

In the cencus of 1930 he is living together with his brothers Henry Denison 44 Lumberman at Saw Mill and Elmer Denison 33 Miner in Silver mine.

There is also a WW1 draft regristration card for Henry Jacob Denison born ´November 25 1885. He is working as Sheephernder on Tuttle and Brown. His nearest relative is mother Johanna Denison in Manti. He`s got blue eyes and light hair.

In the cencus of 1920 it looks like this for the family.

Hi I am a descendant of John Mellor, James brother. My grandma was a Mellor and the book the "Mellors through the years" was given to my dad. My grandma and grandpa are in there and also my dad. I found a lot of helpful information in there as well. Fayette would have been a great place to live, I love to read the stories about fayette and about my ancestors!

Mt. Pleasant City Cemetery (Urgent)

I am traveling to Mount Pleasant to take photos of graves in the Mt. Pleasant City Cemetery. I am traveling with my grandparents who are approaching their 80s. I have a large # of graves I need to photograph and would like to be able to make a plan of how we will work through the cemetery to save my grandparents too much walking.

Can anyone provide a map of the Mt. Pleasant city Cemetery? I only need a map providing the layout of the blocks and plots. The Sexton's office will not send me one electronically and will not be open on Saturday when we are there.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

My great grandparents Annie Catherine Sorensen and Niels Peter Larsen immigrated to Canada. Two of their children were born in Sanpete County, Utah and the other two were born in Alberta, Canada.

The information that I have collected to date, shows her mother to be Constance Johnson.

Were they related to you? And if so, can you shed more light on their family histories?

I also have pictures of Annie and Niels, if you are interested?

I am still working on verifying the information for Annie Catherine Sorensen. In my searches to date, I have found that she did have a brother named Eugene.
