Donald Lucius--Thank you for your response on James Sallee. When I first met him and his wife (Carol) they lived in Moab, Utah with their 1st son (James)--they had eight more children. And was living in Mobticello, Utah at the time of James W. Sallee's death in 1993. His wife Carol and some of the children are still living there.
Am in hopes I can reach some of the family as I have some pictures and information I think they might like to have.
Thank you again for your response. Who was Jim working for when you knew him???
Bonnie

I was from Cedar Point Utah and James and his family were liveing across the canyon at Eastland Utah. I was a Sawmill foreman at a Lumber Mill at Recapture Canyon. James worked at the Mill several summers. We kept chickens at our farm and I would take fresh eggs to work and The Auracana chickens layed colored eggs. James was takeing the colored eggs and hatching chicks and had a steel grainery that he used as a brooder house.

Donald---don't know if you recall responding to the Obituary Lookup I had for James W. Sallee...way back when.
Though this inquiry I was contacted to one of James W. and Carol Sallee's sons (Jerry Sallee). They had been trying to find me...what a surprise.
Jerry rememers the colored eggs well.
Thank you for your response.

I miss the country life with the farm and orchard and gardens and chickens and ducks and the potlucks and the neighbors. I was born there and lived there for years.
James was renting a place at Eastland at the time and I went to visit some and the kids were young at the time.
Since then I have moved around a lot and though we still own our old farm on Cedar Point it is rented out to Bob Barry from Monticello..
