My Great Grandfather died while in SLC and I would love to get his death notice or obituary. Could someone please help me? I'd be happy to re-imburse you for any expenses you have.

George Paterson McGregor
died 27 July 1891 in SLC Utah

We believe he was in SLC doing some work for the Church or for his Mother-in-Law Agnes Arbuckle at the time of his death. He is buried in the City Cemetery.

Thank you so much for looking. I was certainly hoping there would be at least a death notice, but am not surprised there wasn't. I appreciate the time you took to look.

Also, thanks for the info on Agnes. I'll check it out.

You're welcome. I decided to run another search for George McGregor, I did find one thing. It was in the Salt Lake Tribune, March 5, 1890. I don't know if this is the same George you're looking for.

HARD ON. DRUNKS.
Drunks and bums, will have a hard time
of it hereafter in the Gem City, as the new
Gentile Justice of the Peace intends, to make
it uncomfortable for them. To begin with,
Judge Noon sent up George McGregor for
twenty days for partaking too freely ol! Sim
Duggins's new ichthyosaurus punch.
