I understand that Sarah Maraboots Dyson Hatch (b.1846, d.Mar 1873), the Paiute/Navajo wife of Ira Hatch (b.5 Aug 1835), is rumored to be buried in Panguitch. I've searched the online records of the Panguitch cemetary to no avail. However, the record did say there are two graves marked only "Hatch" in the Tropic Cemetery. If someone is in the area doing their own family history work, could you take a look at the Panguitch Cemetery to verify that there is no grave for Sarah. Also, if you happen to be in the area, could you check the Tropic cemetery to see if either of those two graves marked "Hatch" has any indication such as dates that may indicate it could be her grave. Also, I've heard a rumor that there is an Indian cemetery somewhere near Panguitch. Does anyone know if such a place exists?
