Hello all. My name is Bob Reid. I lived in Provo, then Sandy and now in Washington State. I've been trying for years to get my book "The History of the Scofield Mine Disaster" published. It is a rewrite and revisit of Dilly's book published in 1900. I've got a few new items added and its been shortened some. I've got an offer from iUniverse.com to electronically publish the book as a print on demand book. They think it will sell for about $12.95. I was going to include the Anderson photos in the book. Does anyone think I would get any taker's or buyers? I'd like to test the water before I commit to publishing. I'd appreciate any thoughts or ideas. My email is brsolutions@yahoo.com. Would be interested in book. My Great Grandpa worked there at the time of the disaster. His name was Robert Buchanan Menzies

Wow, that was a really, really old post. But I like to get replies. I sell the book as a CD or a hard copy for 24.95. Most people are happy with it. I've had no complaints. The deal with iUniverse fell through.

I'm definitely intersested in the book. My Grandma had an old version is it bascly the same. I know there was a pic of my Great Grandpa and his Dad in that one.

RB Menzies(b : 13/05/1857) was the elder brother of my great grandfather( TRM). Their father was RB Menzies (1825-1899)
Your great grandfather immigrated to Utah around 1885/88 I believe.

My great grandpa immigrated on the 8th of October 1887. Him and his family arrived in Salt Lake 25 Oct 1887. Your great grandpa was Thomas Ross?
