My grandfather was Ben Gettel. His brother was John Gettel. John was born 21/15/1893 in Spring Hill Minn.
Ben was born Oct 28, 1896, unknown location - Spring Hill likely. They had a 1/2 sister by the name of Barb who lived in Fosston MN for many years. They mentioned a Big Ben who lived in North Dakota. Wish I could help more. But the Gettel family wasn't into sharing family information. Ben Gettel died 1985. John died 1978.
