Grandmother, Edna Maxine Baines (1918-2004) and Albert W. (?) Smith begot my mother and uncle: Diane Smith (Miller) and Albert Smith. But, they were never married. My mother recalls staying with his sister in Houston - Essie Mae Smith. Albert and Edna both may have been from Schulenburg, TX but often bragged of Louisiana.
