Well, it looks like I might have been looking for the wrong brother on this site in Dec 2000. I entered the name of Henry C. Dykes,b.abt 1842,Ms.as the one I was looking for,but looks like it was either his oldest brother, William B. or his youngest brother, J.B.( his name is thought to have been John). Henry supposedly went elsewhere. There was one more brother, Isaac Newton Dykes,b.abt 1845, Cov. Co.,Ms. He was my g-grandfather. We can't seem to find out anything on the rest of his family, but one of the family stories was that one of the brothers went to Texas; nothing else known. I just recently learned that it was supposed to be a brother by the name of John and J.B. is the only one who would qualify, so it was probably him,but I decided to throw William in, just in case. If anyone thinks they might have a J.B. "John"? or a William B. Dykes that might fit, I sure would like to hear from you. By the way, their parents were James Dykes,b.abt 1811,La and Mary Ann Rutland,b.abt 1821, Pike or Scott Co.,Ms. Thanks, Dawn
