I am looking for information on an african american family whom resided in Panola, Tx area. Specifically my ggg grandfather Amos Everett born in 1857 or so in texas , his father is listed as Orter Everett on his death certificate but I can not find information on Amos Everette or his parents. I do have limited information on Amos's wife who is listed as Caroline Smith and their children.

I trying to determine if Amos had any siblings and his parents names.
