My Everett ancestors appear in the 1880 census in Parker County, with occupation "glassblower." Can anyone provide information about the glass-making industry in this area?

The Everett family was probably there a relatively short time, as they were in Ohio in 1870 and Indiana in 1900--always involved in the glass industry.
