Re references to Bart or Barto or Bartow, born april 1861, he's my grandfather. His full name was in intended to be Henry G. (for Gray, Im reasonably sure) Chapman, but my surmise is that his name became Henry Gray Bartow Chapman after early events of Civil War. The Bartow came from the first Confederate general killed at Manassas. Bartow was really a colonel, but was promoted posthumously.

HGBC is buried in Crumley Chapel Cemetery with several family members and close relations, i.e. a Lumpkin in law.
