Looking for an obituary for Joseph Xavier Martin. b. 19 Sep 1853 in IL and d. 15 Mar 1927 in Parker Co TX. Any help is greatly appreciated!

The Weatherford Public Library might be able to help you. There should be some newspapers for 1927. Write to them at 1014 Charles St., Weatherford TX 76086. Or call at 817-598-4150, ask for Reference and ask about the fee. I don't know what they charge now. Evlyn Broumley

Yes, a nice lady at the Weatherford Library looked it up for me! It was very vague, so it didn't help much. I was hoping it would list other family members, but it didn't.

Joe Xavier Martin and wife Martha are both buried in the Veal Station Cemetery. Their son Joe E "Bud" is buried there too with his wife. I have copies of JX Martin, Martha and Bud's death certificate if you will email me directly I will send them to you.
