I am seeking information on a John K. Gibble and his wife during about a 3 or 4 year stay in Tx. John came to seek his fortune in Oil/Gas industry and have reason to believe they may have purchased land in Zapata Co.

J Edgar Lamberth, father of Tom L Lamberth, as i metion was in Ft Worth on the 1930 Census.

In 1910 Census in Sherman, Grayson Co.,Texas

first wife before Mabel ( mother of Tom) was

Saliah Lamberth, born 1879, age 32
J Edgar Lamberth, born in 1878, 31 Children. Robert age 9, Frances age 4

La Lajita Ranch is located in Zapata, Texas the Family that owns it are daughter of Jesus Benavides it located about 5 miles south of Zapata. If you go to google maps you can find it would be next to Porcion 30 follow the old Hwy 83 and you can also call me my family own Porcion 30 called El Sabinito Ranch so they were born in the La Lajita Ranch and one of the daugher of Jesus Benavides works for my son as an LVN.

Searching for information on Estanislada Martinez b May 7, 1896 in , d 1949 in Texas. 1880 Census shows Estanislada living on a ranch in Zapata County with her Grandparents, Jose Ma. Martinez, age 59 and Loreta, age 50.

Estanislada married Omer Elsworth McLead Jan 3, 1918 in Laredo, Texas. Her "Americanized" name is Nellie Ruth Martin.

Texas Death certificate for Lloyd M. Lashbrook states he died in Starr County, was buried in Zapata Cemetery, Zapata, Zapata County, Texas.

Looking for a kind soul to see if there is a headstone for Lloyd and take a photo, also locate any possible obituary.

Lloyd M. Lashbrook died January 20, 1973.

Kenneth E. Christensen, died 06 Jan 1995

His wife died a few years before him and they are buried in a
Zapata cemetery.

Marjorie M. Clark was the adopted dau of Walter G. CLARK and Cora Mae CASE. She was born in Washington state and had an adopted sister, Eva "Lauretta" CLARK who married Henry George GRIFFIN. She also had a brother Donald B. CLARK.

Marjorie M. CLARK was living with her family in Falls City, Polk co, Oregon in 1920 and by 1982 Mrs. Marjorie WIEBE was living in Zapata, Texas according to her sister's obituary.

moved to Portland then to Astoria, OR; member of Lions Auxiliary and Rebekah Lodge; buried at Ocean View Cemetery (located in Warrenton, OR but owned by city of Astoria, OR) 7 grandchildren and one great granddaughter; two daughters, Millie Edison of Astoria and Marjorie Arnold of Gearhart, a son Vern of Astoria, OR; a sister Marjorie Wiebe of Zapata, Texas, and a brother Donald Clark of Port Angeles, WA.

Girl born Jun 13, 1967..Perryton (Ochiltreet, Tx)..Dr Gene Wade delivered me..He set up private adoption with very young girl..Probably from Oklahoma who went to Perryton to stay with aunt during pregnancy..My adoptive parents knew Dr Wade..My dad stationed on Airforce base near by...Any help will be grae
