Una Askew (daughter) witnessed the document. Kit's wife was Mary Allie (Henderson) Butts (22 Mar 1887 - Jun 1977) who died in Lubbock. The Hendersons are found in 1900 Eastland-Precinct 5-District 171-Image 22. Kit/Allie married about 1906 and they're found 1910 Dawson-Precinct 1-District 0035-Image 11. Their children at that point were Horace L.(3) and Aubrey O.(10/12). In 1920 Eastland-Eastland-District 97-Image 4, daughter Una(8) and son Kenneth(7) joined the family. A divorce ensued and Allie was head-of-household in 1930 McLennan-Waco-District 18-Image 1. No additional children enumerated and Una was not part of this household. Una evidently relocated to Arkansas? SSDI: Una Askew (1 Feb 1911 - 30 Dec 1993) and Noah Askew (26 Mar 1913 - 24 Aug 1999). Noah was born in Texas to Moses D. Askew and Martha Richardson of Arkansas. Una's maternal grandparents were also Arkansas-natives. Kenneth Carson Butts/Doris June Womack got "busy" in Lubbock. There are four births listed on the database. Son Richard Eugene/Mary Katherine Reynolds begat three. Daughter Susan Denece/Terry Lee Grimes also parents of three. Horace Lavelle Butts (27 Jul 1907 - Oct 1982) and Doreen Archie (Wallace) Butts (2 Apr 1910 - Jun 1973) listed SSDI for Albuquerque, NM. They have two births registered in Texas but zero grandkids.
