The death certificate has Obie's name spelled Obeidence. Usually, I recommend a copy of the original social security card application as a source of parental names. However, Obie lived longest of the three and there is no SSAN on her death certificate. Doesn't mean she did not apply for benefits! Consider posting for her obit in Eastland County? Her daughter, Velma, did not include Obie's mom on the death certificate. Even worse, Obie's husband Walter Lee Brown's certificate witnessed by J. B. Baker-son in law. Neither of Walter's parents were known.
