Yes they are all African American with the surname of Fullum- Fullem in Virginia, Pennsylvania , Maryland, Ohio, etc, and Canada (I have to be careful here as I do not wish to confuse the African Americans with the French Canadians ) are descendants of the original family in England. I called that lineage the House of the City of London and the Senior lineage. I descend like the majority of the family from the Junior lineage the scion known as the House of Swords County Dublin.
The original lineages are now extinct and most descendant lineages are from the Junior family. However both African Americans and the French Canadians descend from the City of London lineages.

Mary Fulham the White Englishwoman had a mixed race daughter Martha Fulham, who had twin sons Alexander and Baker Fulham born in the 1700's.
Baker Fulham was very light skinned and passed for a White man, he ran away and a Bounty was placed on his head as a escaped servant. it is recorded that he joined the British Army and was granted freedom. The other named family members came later and their surname became misspelt from Fulham. All your information will be placed on our family site with Pride of this lineages.
