Hi: Hope this finds you.

As much as we have been able to determine, there are no additional Hennech or Henneck relatives in our line in TX. We have never been able to document a correct spelling, location, or additional family members prior to Otto. Older deceased family members stated that Otto and his parents immigrated from Germany, did not like Texas and went back to Germany. Otto was about 33 when he was murdered in 1912. This means Otto would have been born about 1879, but we do not know if it was in Germany or America. They probably came to TX through Galveston or one of the other TX ports. The community he lived in was mostly Swedish and Germans. Otto had the 4 children and I can document all of their children. His wife later remarried a Smith and is buried in Pflugerville (near Austin). None of the 4 children either knew anything about their father and his family or just never did tell anyone.

As near as we have ever been able to determine there are Hennech's (with various spellings) from the area of what is now North Eastern Germany. One contact I have in Florida with the same spelling as mine said her ancestors were Russian Jews.
