Wichita Co. Farm Cemetery - I now have an index of this cemetery

I have not surveyed this cemetery but I do have a copy of an index of people buried in the Poor Farm Cemetery. I have no other information except their name, but if you are looking for someone and you know that they died in Wichita Co. you can e mail me and I will look and see if they are on the list.
Most of the people who are buried here do not have headstones and very few have markers of any kind since they could not afford to pay for their funeral and burials.

I would like a lookup for a boy named Bennett Gibson, born about 1876 in Texas. His parents were John S. and Eliza Gibson. This family is listed on a farm in the 1880 Wichita County census:Series T9 Roll 1332 Page 424.
I have found Sheridan and Elsie, but not Bennett, and I wonder if he died in Wichita or Clay County. Perhaps he was buried somewhere on their farm, or maybe on the Poor Farm that you have names for. Thanks for any help you can send my way. Eloise eloisen@sbcglobal.net (Formerly enicolos@innercite.com)

The County Cemetery was not established until the late 1920's. Wichita did not become a real city until 1882 and the only public cemetery began in the late 1890's. It is called Riverside Cemetery. It was the only cemetery in Wichita Falls until the mid teens.
Did you look at the Wichita County rootsweb site at all of the cemetery transcriptions to see if you could find him?

According to the TX Death Records there are no John or J.L. Hills who died in Wichita Co. in the 1930's. There are a whole lot of John Hill's with no middle initial who died in the state of Texas

John Hill 29 Jul 1940 Dallas
John Hill 11 Jun 1935 Freestone
John Hill 1 Jul 1931 Grayson
John Hill 15 Oct 1937 Gregg
John Hill Jr. 30 Jan 1938 Kaufman
John Hill Sr. 23 Jul 1930 Harrison
John Hill 25 Dec 1930 Grayson
John Hill 17 Mar 1930 Harris
John Hill 17 Oct 1930 Newton
John Hill 26 Mar 1934 Washington

and then there are these with the middle name beginning with an L

John Laurano Hill 25 Oct 1939 Navarro

John Logan Hill 30 Sep 1938 Val Verde

John Lou Hill 6 Apr 1940 Bastrop

Thanks. I found the death certificate at the same place, but the handwriting for "poor farm" was so terrible I wanted to verify it. I appreciate your help.
