I'm conducting a study on the early WALKER FAMILIES coming into Titus County - from 1846 to 1860, attempting to identify all these families by using the tax records, cenus, marriage and cemetery records. Also pooling the records of all WALKER RESEARCHERS in the Upshur-Titus-Hopkins County area. Wish to establish kinship to one SYLVANUS WALKER, born SC 1803, Laurens Co. Greenville District, then to Georgia - DeKalb Co.-Hall Co.-Gwinnett Co. area in the 1830s, then to Randolph Co. AL from at least 1836 to 1846, then to Texas - Upshur-Titus-Hopkins Co. area, ALWAYS seeking new land opportunities in newly formed counties.
PLEASE JOIN ME IN THIS STUDY to identify all these WALKER men and their families, seeking land and new opportunities - just after the end of the Republic of Texas 1836-1845, and settling in the newly formed 31 counties of East and Northeast Texas counties.
