Did you ever find anything further on William Minor Race?
He was my great grandfather on my mothers side of the family and I am very interested where it leads. I have never been able to discover his parents or if he had siblings. I did get a copy of Lilian's Book however as you know it doesn't disclose any history prior to Ft Worth.
