Samuel Daniels was born in Missouri about 1856. In the 1870's he moved from Reynolds County, Missouri (Webb Township) with his brothers James and John and sister Christina. The Copeland and Burnham Families moved with them. They moved to Bell County, Texas by 1880. Them and their families lived in Bell County and Milam County. Samuel and his family moved to Coleman County by 1910 and then moved to Stephens County by 1920. Samuel and his wife Martha A. or Annie, had sons, Alva C., Ernest, Jessie, John, Walter and Curtis and daughters, Artie, Ida B. and Grace V. or Vera. Samuel's parents were Isaiah and Julia.
