Am researching the family of Charles W. HICKS, born SC in 1817. Wife, Annie Elizabeth MARTIN, born Georgia in 1827. This couple married in Upson Co Georgia in 1845. They were in Pike Co Alabama in l860 and in Shelby Co Texas by l870.

In the l880 census of Shelby Co the HICKS family was listed as household #73......in household #72 was the family of M. F. MARTIN, age 50, born in Miss. Household #75 was the family of C. MARTIN, born SC in l803 and wife, Mary, born l826 in Alabama.

Does anyone have information on any of these families. Am interested in any HICKS and MARTIN families from Upson Co Georgia, Pike or Dale Co Alabama. Will exchange information.
