Surname: WATKINS, FISHER

I am interested in locating info. on Robert Watkins b. abt. 1826, Washington Co., AR. He m. Mary abt. 1851/1852 Newton Co., MO and had Isaac T., Justine, Mary, James & William. Robert, Isaac, Justin & William came to San Saba Co., TX abt
1868 on one horse. Mary & the other children must have died.

On Aug 11, 1870 he m. Mary Ellen Fisher in Georgetown and they have Jesse, Margaret and Calvin. Mary Ellen Fisher must have died by 1880 as she isn't in the housewhole on the census and Robert has the 3 children.

In a letter received my me dated 6/5/1997, the writter visited the Court House at San Saba and had checked
for probate records on Robert Watkins. She said the clerk had found the sleeve to probate records on Robert dated
July 21, 1886. The sleeve was empty, so the records were
either lost or put into the wrong sleeve. It said he left 3
minor children.

I find no record of Mary Ellen Fisher before she m. Robert nor was she in the 1880 census with Robert and children.

Robert is the half-brother of Sarah Jane SCOTT SUTTON b. 1840 Washington Co., AR.

I need info. on Robert WATKINS, Mary Ellen FISHER as to DOD and place of death and/or burial. I am also looking for information on Sarah.
